The current Statement of Principles came into effect for a three-year period in 2022.

In line with legislation, Huntingdonshire District Council is in the process of reviewing and updating the statement. The new version will come into effect on 31 January 2025 and last for a further period of 3 years, unless it is reviewed again in the interim.

Summary of changes - The council has updated the Gambling Policy Statement, revising key statistics and background information as necessary.

The council would welcome any comments that you may wish to make on the content of the new statement.

Comments should be sent in writing to the Licensing Section or by email to licensing@huntingdonshire.gov.uk with a closing date for receipt of 25 September 2024.

Please respond quoting 'Gambling consultation response' and identify the relevant paragraph(s) you wish to make comment on.

We welcome any comments you may wish to make. Your contribution will be important to us in deciding the final content of our statement of principles and all comments received will be considered.

Although we are not able to give an individual response to every comment received, we will be publishing the results as a part of a committee report to be put before Full Council. The final version of the Statement will also be published on our website.
