Emergency food parcels are made up of a small amount of food but also a plate, bowl, saucepan, frying pan etc for when someone is going into temporary accommodation.

Self-referrals: Please email us to discuss your situation. We can signpost clients to agencies who can help and provide future referrals.

Offering Food parcel by delivery - at least three days' nutritionally balanced food parcel, but realistically could last as week.

Tuesday and Friday 10am - 12pm

Deliveries on these days are made between 8am and 1pm

The email account is checked at least daily, but the phone is only monitored when we are open.

The community cafe in the church is open on Tuesday from 10am to 12pm

Who we help:

The Food Bank serves everyone in crisis, regardless of faith or belief. It's important to be passionate about inclusion and being non-judgemental is central to the ethos of the Food Bank.  It is underpinned by the belief that everyone has the right to food, dignity, skills, a chance to work and hope for the future.

Food parcels:

We provide enough food basics to provide a nutritionally balanced diet for a minimum of 3 days. The packages are designed for emergencies and contain a small range of 'must haves' for those who could not get by without.

Areas covered

St Ives and the surrounding villages: Bluntisham, Colne, Earith, Fen Drayton, Fenstanton, The Hemingfords, Needingworth, Pidley, Somersham and Wyton-on-the-Hill.

Goody bags with bananas, crisps, sandwich, pastry or cake, and water, hot dogs and jacket potatoes with cheese and beans.
