We operate a number of grant aid programmes and provide information on other opportunities available:
Community Chest Grant Scheme 2024/25
Over the last two years, the Community Chest has welcomed applications that focused on helping residents during and recovering from the pandemic. This resulted in the delivery of projects and initiatives developed by the community for the community.
This year we welcome applications from community groups and organisations who would like to help us achieve the following priorities that have been set out within the Corporate Plan for 2023–28:

Helping people in crisis

Lowering carbon emissions
Applications must be for projects that are based in Huntingdonshire, and where the significant majority of beneficiaries are Huntingdonshire residents.

Apply for Community Chest Grant SchemeRural England Prosperity Fund
The Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF) is an addendum to the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It aims to support activities that specifically address the particular challenges rural areas face.
Huntingdonshire District Council (HDC) has been allocated a total of £957,788, of which £350,000 has been allocated to support the growth of rural businesses.

Strategic Grants
We have two strategic grant partners who are contracted with us until 31 March 2020:

Hunts Forum for the provision of infrastructure and support for the voluntary sector

Citizens Advice Rural Cambs for the provision of information and advice to Huntingdonshire communities.
Grants for Businesses
We provide information for businesses to find out about funding schemes available in Huntingdonshire. This and further information for businesses can be found on our Invest Huntingdonshire website.

Huntingdonshire Futures Grant Scheme - Closed
The Huntingdonshire Futures grant scheme has now closed. It ran from 15 May - 15 September 2024.
We will be sharing details of how the grant has been used, please check back soon.
Shop Front Grant Scheme - Closed
Thank you for your interest in the scheme. The last date for submissions was 1 September 2024 and the scheme has now closed for new applications.
Applicants who have had applications approved must ensure that their projects are completed by March 2025.
