Active Lifestyles offers a range of sporting and physical activity opportunities to help improve the health and wellbeing of our residents. If your group/organisation needs support to keep your community active and social, then see here to find out more about how we can support you.

Children and young people

  • Fun and engaging activities for children and young people

  • Wide range of activities to choose from including:

    • Community Activity Programmes:

      • Sports Coaching

      • Multi-Skills

      • Street Sports

      • School Holiday Programmes

      • Mini-Movers Play Sessions (Under 5s)

    • School-based Activity Programmes:

      • Curricular

      • Extra-Curricular

      • Enrichment Activities

      • Healthy Schools Days

      • After School Clubs

      • Activity and Healthy Eating Course

Adults/older adults

  • Group activities that can be delivered as short courses, classes or bespoke sessions

  • Activities can be general or for targeted populations, for example older adults, inactive adults, cardiovascular disease prevention, diabetes, obesity, hypertension and more

  • Wide range of activities to choose from including:

    • Beginners Courses:

      • Studio Sessions

      • None to Run

      • Indoor Cycling

      • Racket Sports

    • Group Exercise Classes/Sessions:

      • Walking Sports

      • New Age Sports such as Kurling

      • Golden Games

      • Multi-Sports / Team Games, for example Rabble, Pickleball, Kinball etc.

      • Active for Health

      • Chair-Based Exercise classes

      • Strength and Balance Classes

      • Postural Stability Classes

      • Older Adult Circuits

      • Care Home and Residential sessions

      • Outdoor Exercise Sessions

    • Dementia:

      • Love to Move

      • Ageless Grace

    • Disability:

      • Multi-sports sessions

      • Day-Care Settings

      • PEDALS adapted cycles and more
