On 24 January 2023 Huntingdonshire District Council’s Cabinet agreed to the preparation of a full update to the adopted Local Plan which will set out a plan for how the district will grow over future decades. Huntingdonshire’s Local Plan to 2036 (adopted 15 May 2019)
On 15 May 2019, Huntingdonshire’s Local Plan to 2036 [PDF, 7MB] was adopted.
It replaces the:
Core Strategy (adopted September 2009), which sets the spatial vision, objectives and strategic directions of growth to 2026
Huntingdon West Area Action Plan, which was adopted in February 2011
saved policies from the Local Plan 1995 and the Local Plan Alteration 2002
