Huntingdonshire District Council is inviting residents and visitors to have their say in a public survey, which launched today, 5 June, to gain insight into the user requirements, concerns, and expectations of Electric Vehicle (EV) Charge Points within the district.

EV charging is a subject at the forefront of council agendas across the UK, as we recognise the environmental impact of vehicles.

The survey will guide us to what methods of support we can offer, how we can promote the use of EV, and how the infrastructure of our council's car parks can be enhanced.

Executive Councillor for Climate and Environment, Councillor Lara Davenport-Ray, said: "At HDC we are committed to creating a better Huntingdonshire for future residents by lowering our carbon emissions.

"With evolving technology and greater accessibility to electric vehicles, we want to understand what is important to our community and visitors before we develop plans for our council-owned charging points."

Residents are encouraged to complete the survey before midnight on Sunday 9 July.
